This ingenious telescopic system is placed above the reel seat, it allows elongating or shortening the rod according to your needs. All it takes is to twist the extension piece and pull it out. This mechanism holds well in both elongated or shortened positions and it eliminates any give whether you cast or fight a fish. This rod is built on a 24T carbon blank that’s very sensitive and lightweight. It has a parabolic action, a feature that lets you enjoy every fight. The combination of these parameters with a unique structure makes XTENZ a great choice for casual but also for competitive fishing. To keep the weight as low as possible, we chose high-quality single-foot guides SeaGuide with SIC inserts. They ensure smooth passage of the line, whether you cast or fight a fish. The reel seat has an ergonomic shape that fits right in the palm of your hand and reduces the overall weight of the rod. The handle and the butt cap are made from EVA foam for better comfort. The butt cap of the handle has a triangular shape called TriFLAT to improve stability especially when casting. The rod comes with three carbon tips called Light, Medium, and Heavy.
