Just like the former version, NXT is made for feeder fishing of river fish where you have to use a sturdier rod with heavy casting weight. The 24T carbon blank can stop even strong fish from fleeing while still maintaining the advantages of a feeder rod. The casting weight of 180 g allows you to use heavy feeder cages which are definitely a necessity in a river current. Just like the previous model, the lower part of the blank above the handle is strengthened by a dark cross-shaped pattern. For the rest of the blank was used the PowerWrap technology which is clear since the first contact with the rod. It’s an additional carbon winding on the rod surface that increases the strength and resistance against overcharge. This means increased durability and lower risk of mechanical damage. The individual rod parts are fortified by a PowerJoin ring to also minimise the possibility of mechanical damage. RIVER TROPHY NXT has quality guides with SIC padding and a firm reel seat. One of the most interesting elements of this rod is undoubtedly the detailed handle designed from EVA and RUBBER CORK materials.
