The new reel configuration features an enlarged spool and rotor, engineered to optimise casting behaviour and improve line control. The key innovation is the AIRDRIVE rotor, introduced for the first time on a dedicated surfcasting reel. Its distinctive spherical-inspired geometry combines rigidity and low weight, reducing rotational inertia and delivering exceptionally smooth rotor start-up and rotation.

The ZAION construction of both body and rotor further contributes to weight reduction.
