The use of these guides minimises the line friction, and it prolongs the distance and precision of your casts. Apart from looking good, it has many performance features. It’s a special rubber surface, soft to the touch with excellent anti-slip properties. In comparison with a classic cork, it’s more durable and easier to clean. This makes the handle both comfortable and practical. The design of the TechnoCORK material is similar to black cork and when you look closer, you’ll surely notice small Delphin logos with letters TC, the acronym for TechnoCORK. The tips underwent some changes too. Proper positioning of the guides and their size make the rod very lightweight and balanced. The rod is compatible with CARBON and CarboLIX tip sets. Both sets are made from carbon and they both have the same tip range (1xUL, 1xL, and 1xM). What’s the difference then? You’ll get one set of CarboLIX tips with your rod and there are 3 tips, one is Ultralight, one Light, and one Medium. These are soft tips with low weight and high sensitivity that indicate subtle bites from the smallest fish. If you prefer firm tips, the CARBON set is more suitable for you. These are also UL, L, and M according to the general terminology. However, in comparison with the CarboLIX set, they are stronger and more suitable for fishing bigger carp fish.
