FLACARP AL2 Motion Sensor - Double-sided

The FLACARP motion sensor is designed not only for anglers, but also for monitoring a fishing spot, bivouac, boat, parked car, ... 

When a motion is detected, it sends a signal to a receiver at a distance of up to 1 km (in open space), in normal conditions up to several hundred meters.

Produced in two versions:

• Single-sided AL1 (the detection sensor is located on the rear side together with the LED).
• Double-sided AL2 (the detection sensor is located on both sides of the device)

Simple selection of detection mode:

1. Extended range, e.g. for short-term monitoring of not only the fishing spot but also the access route. The range for this mode is approx. 6 metres for the single-sided AL1 sensor. For the double-sided AL2 version it is 12 metres (6 metres on each side).
2. The other mode with high resistance to false alarms is designed for long-term monitoring of the fishing spot, e.g. at night. Here the range is about 3 metres for the single-sided AL1 version. For the double-sided AL2 version it is 6 metres (3 metres on each side).

The motion sensor itself can not only alert the angler when a motion is detected, but can also be paired with the FLACARP FL5 bivouac light or the FLACARP FL6-RGB waterproof LED light.

The sensor also includes an integrated position LED light that can be switched on manually and remotely by a receiver (it serves as a beacon when feeding from boat), or can be turned on when a motion is detected or when a fish is on bite. The main function of the device is to keep watch and the light is only a supplementary function; we have equipped the device with an automatic switching-off mode for the LED light, in case the angler forgets to switch it off, to avoid the battery discharging.

The motion sensor is compatible with FLACARP products (with bite alarms, receivers, lights ...).

Powered by two regular micro batteries (2xAAA), the same batteries as in other FLACARP products.

Which sensor to choose? The single-sided or the double-sided one?

• In case you want to guard the surroundings of your fishing spot and not start the alarm whenever you make a move, the FLACARP AL1 single-sided sensor is preferable. It is equipped with a motion sensor only from the rear side, so you can direct it to the front of you, to the area you want to guard (from the water, from the road ...) and it will not start the alarm unnecessarily whenever you move. Simply, by directing the sensor you define the area you want to guard.
• On the other hand, if you want to secure an area where no one is supposed to be moving at the moment, or you require a longer range, a double-sided sensor that guards from the front and the back either is preferable (so the range is double).
