These technologies also reduce the overall weight of the rod, making it the lightest carp rod in the TX range which results in increase tip speed when used with maximum casting force. Casts in excess of 220 yards have been achieved using the 13' INT model with a 4.5oz (128 g) lead. Not only is the TX Ultra longer casting, it is also unnervingly accurate and remarkably forgiving when playing fish, especially in the 3.0 lb and 3.25 lb test curves.
